CURRENT AFFAIRS

Aside from my work as film critic, I have written extensively on current affairs, politics, and society.  While in Colombia, I reported on the peace treaty between the government and the FARC guerrillas for several international news outlets, before joining InSight Crime, a leading research centre on organised crime across Latin America, where I served as journalist and researcher.
